Online Check-in is not possible, despite Brussels Airlines suggest it by email. They have no app for smartphones either and are not supposed to allow check-in with Star Alliance partner airlines. For the 6:45 AM flight from TXL to Brussels I had to wait ~ 1 hour in a very long line, due to they had only 2 check-in agents. In Brussels I got a rude answer to an simple question.
Let me get this straight: after not being allowed to bring liquids into the terminal, and avoiding paying the ridiculous airport drink fees, I get on my flight and I don't even get a complimentary soda or juice? Wait, you want me to pay 2,50€ for airplane-sized drinks that used to be free? I understand this whole rising cost of prices and such, but seriously Brussels Airlines, you can't be hurting THAT bad. Even AirBerlin gives out free snacks and drinks.
