Olbia to Manchester. After waiting for 3 hours we found out from the Manchester airport site that our flight was cancelled. Nobody at Olbia had informed as to anything more than they were working on the toilets on the plane. The crew visited the airport toilets walking through the departure lounge, they then went back to the plane and ascended the skies without us. This is after the captain had told us personally that he would keep us updated. Nearly 300 people wandered around the terminal at 11.30 pm looking lost and confused. I could see what was coming so I rang a hotel and booked a room. When I went outside the terminal there were no taxis due to there being no flights due until the morning. I tried phoning but were told "No taxis"! Then one taxi appeared and took us to the hotel.

It is not easy with easyJet. At Berlin Schoenfeld Airport, the queue was extremely long and there were only 3 counters opened. Check-in staff were rude and unhelpful. I feel that the airline's main aim is to be voted "most on time carrier" at the expense of passengers. The app does not really work when you have more than 2 boarding passes. For example, I could see that I had 4 boarding passes on the app but I could only open 2 earlier passes. After the check-in staff also could not open the other 2 boarding passes, he issued us with paper passes, but he issued my son's pass twice and not mine causing further confusion and distress at the security gate. Overall, not happy with easyJet. But a positive point on easyJet in comparison with other budget carriers, they allow a child traveller to have a free check-in of a strollercar seat.

I have to take easyJet flight from Manchester to Geneva, Sunday-Friday almost every second week since June this year. 'Have to' because this is a cheapest option and the only option of direct flight from Manchester. If you have any flexibility avoid by all means as 9 of 10 flights delayed (and more than half of them on 1.5-2+ hours) and you do not fancy to spend half of your weekend at the airport waiting. EasyJet absolutely don't care for them it seems to be normal operation mode. For the next month going to book connection flights with other airliners as it simply is going to be faster than easyJet 'direct' one. Absolute and huge disappointment with that airline as no sign of any improvement for months

Gatwick to Budapest in July 2017. I was denied boarding in London (I had a connection in Budapest transit zone to to Kutaisi, Georgia) because I did not have a Hungarian visa. This is absurd since I was supposed to have connection in the international transit zone in the same terminal in Budapest with no check-in carriage and I was checked-in for my next flight. EasyJet eventually refunded me for that, but they could not explain at all which of their terms I was violating.

Munich to Gatwick. Terrible cancellation policy. I bought three tickets for $68. A few minutes later I saw that I needed to fly out a day earlier. I then proceeded to cancel and change my flight. They charged me $129 to change, and then charged me $248 for the same flight the day before (A few minutes after I made this change I looked up how much those same flights cost, and they were selling for $68 - meaning easyjet gouged me). In short, a $68 ticket ended up being around $400. If you are going to fly easyjet and you need to cancel, then dont cancel, just let the seats fly empty and buy your new seats. Or, better yet, just don't fly easyjet! Ryanair had much better solutions.

Gran Canaria to Gatwick. I just wanted to say what a wonderful flight we had. I had never flown with easy jet previously, And after having flights cancelled with Monarch I had rebooked with easy jet. The head flight attendant on our flight home was excellent. Helpful, friendly, funny and made a night time flight very bearable for my family of 6 (4 children, 2 adults )

Gatwick to Hurghada. I understand technical problems can’t be avoided. But to be delayed two hours due to it being fixed I can deal with although still ridiculous when you have boarded the plane that then problems are noticed. The main problem is that now after a two hour wait we have a further couple of hours to wait as the current crew has said they are finishing their shifts. We now have to wait for the new crew, who still have to travel to the airport. Unprofessional and no compensation! Sorry does not fix things! I would not even rate a one star, they don’t give you that option though.

Flew easyJet from London Stansted to Prague. Flight was on time, boarding experience fairly easy. Seats ok. We ordered a drink from their inflight bar, about 30 mins later (40 mins until landing) we asked for another drink only to be told they were going to have a breakfast so would not give us more drinks? Surely you have a breakfast before you leave the house or if you must eat on a 90 minute flight, you can take it in turns to make sure staff are available. Absolutely ridiculous. Poor customer service.

Athens to Bristol. EasyJet have disappointed on this trip. I had paid out for an extra suitcase along with upfront seating for an extra suitcase. This small suitcase has been used on their flights before but on this one it was apparently too big to go in the cabin. This resulted in them charging me another 60 euros on my flight home. Overall I spent an extra 120 euros on getting home. I appreciate I had to pay for the extras to get my luggage home as I have been working abroad for the last months. What make this worse is that there were other people on the flight who's luggage was bigger than mine. I can say I won't be choosing to travel with easyjet again!

Had an issue with my booking reference through a fault of my own, only realised tonight and flying in two days. As customer service was closed I sent a Facebook message. Problem was sorted within the hour by the very helpful Barbara. Very impressed that such little effort was needed.

Thank you Easyjet.
You got us from London Luton to Charles de Gaulle for 20 quid, on time, and we actually had our entire group sit next to each other. You get what you pay for but at least you're not being trampled to death on Ryanair.

That's right EJ, you've just earned yourself another star.
It really is just easy flying with you. My recent trip to Marrakesh was seamless - the flights, though both completely full, were still quite comfortable, they left on time, landed early, the staff on both legs were friendly and helpful and there were no ash clouds of doom to speak of so it was completely smooth sailing. Or flying. Or whatever.
Maybe you won't be my go-to crisis airline, but for the cheap short hops you truly are the best low cost airline. #Nachofact: I should probably stay on the ground during international no-fly crises anyhow. Noted.
Now if we could just sort out that whole Gatwick thing..

Many of my friends recommend Easy Jet so I booked them Edinburgh to Naples on 27/09/2015,returning 04/10/2015.I was not disappointed. The prices were reasonable. The flights were within a few minutes of the scheduled times. The seats were clean and comfortable with adequate legroom.Toilets were clean. The trolleys had a good array of hot drinks and snacks and it was good to see they were still well stocked on my return as that is not always the case with certain rivals. The Stewardesses were welcoming and friendly and helpful. The First Officer, each time, told you where you were on the journey and pointed out highlights eg the Austrian Alps.It was reassuring that, when a Pilot went to the toilet,a Stewardess ensured the other was not left alone in the cockpit. It was good to see Easy Jet allowed Mums with h little kids to jump the queue,as other airlines should do.

As far as budget airlines go, I'm quite a fan of EasyJet and would certainly chose to fly with them over other cheaper airlines such as Ryan Air and Monarch.
You basically get what you pay for. Cheap flights = reduced leg room and chaotic boarding. But hey, they usually tend to be short flights and I'm quite often traveling on my own, so I am happy to let the hoards fight it out for the 'best' seats, I'll have what ever is left.
I don't tend to purchase food or drink on board as the price is usually extortionate and the quality poor. It's much easier to grab something at the airport and take it on with you.
Luggage costs extra but this is commonplace now and the limits are certainly more generous than others I could mention.
To top it all, I have come across some great stewards on EasyJet flights. The highlight on my latest trip back from France was the extremely camp air host who kept us entertained with his banter and X-Factor auditions!

I have some good news to report! After talking to their customer service and sorting all the facts out, Easy Jet acknowledged the mistake was on their part and refunded me the cost if the entire flight to and from Barcelona....so there was at least a happy ending to go with the tough start if my trip!

One sentence! Do not fly this airline!
Worst airline ecxperiance ever! We had to pay 90 Euro to check in 2 pieces of luggage which converts into 101$ in USA. Thats highway robbery!
Plus we delt with unpleasant customer service, who threatened to revoke our tickets for not wanting to pay the 90 euro for our luggage.
Once onboard, you had to pay for everything, drinks were 1.50/2 euros and food was more.
I dont know how this airline stays in business! We will never fly this airline again!

It's cheap and I normally don't complain when you get what you spend. But attempting to hassle and make people pay for luggage that is normal for one to bring on a plane is stupid. Humans aren't sardines I wouldn't ride with them if your above 200lbs or you will be highly uncomfortable. I wouldn't complain had it only been one bad experience but I've flown with them twice and learnt my lesson not to do it a third time. Customer service needs some work and that's from telephone in person and email. Also if your boarding a flight in London England it would be great if the employees could speak English

Look - I understand value for money - Walmart, Home Depot, even JetBlue -offer budget services - meaning a no-frills product for a no-frills price. However, easyJet really fails on every level. When you say to yourself, I'd rather pay top dollar than travel on this crappy airline, you know you are not getting anywhere near you value for the money. Avoid this airline!

London Gatwick to Santorini Greece and Rhodes to London Gatwick in Airbus A320. Both flights were good the cabin crew were efficient and friendly. The available food and beverages were palatable and the flights left close to time. I have flown with easyJet on a number of occasions and they always deliver what I expect from a budget carrier ie safety at cheap prices.

Two flights: London to Amsterdam & Paris to London Feb 2015 no hold luggage. after booking the tickets, we heard stories from husbands coworkers and belatedly read online reviews that were less than thrilling so we were a little scared of what we might be in for, right down to Gatwick being a cattle farm. Pleased to say that we had no problems with easy jet whatsoever. The online check in was trouble free, selected seats and printed out our passes. I purchased preferential boarding for one flight and didn't realise it but the process at the gate was nothing different to any other airline than we'd ever encountered: business/first first, followed by rewards/status classes, followed by families/disabled- then it's a free for all for everyone else. (i don't know why liners don't board back rows first to front to prevent chaos onboard) The plane was on time, our on board bag we prefer under the seat. Sure you have to pay for snacks if you want them but we used them for short flights so take your own if desperate and this is what.budget airlines do. Next time we are in Europe we'd have no issue with using them again.

If your Easyjet flight is cancelled!!!!!!! We were notified the day before our flight from Santorini to Manchester - that the flight had been cancelled. After a lot of messing about and little support from Easyjet we got a flight a day later to London Gatwick. We incurred significant cost getting back to Manchester and submitted our receipts to Easyjet to claim compensation. We flew to Gatwick on the 6th August - it is now the 25th of September and they have still not settled our claim even though I had to pay the extra travel cost almost 2 months ago. What is most annoying is that when we were in Santorini trying to contact Easyjet to see what our options were - you could not get through to customer services (we were on hold for over an hour!). I have called them since my return 5 times (the average hold time is over 30 minutes) and although they promise to sort this out and say a manager will call back - they lie - they don't sort it out and don't call back. As a travel editor I regularly use low cost airlines - Jet2, Ryanair etc. and I have to say the lack of customer service make Easyjet the worst I have come across. I will certainly never use them again. Cant be trusted!

I normally use easy to fly back and forth from London to southend never had an issue with them till they Lost My Luggage 3 weeks on I have sworn to the all might gods above that I will NEVER NEVER use this airline again , calling customer service on the phone they were rude , unfriendly and the least bit helpful considering they're are suppose to be tracing my luggage , although I have to wonder for such a small airline and a 40 min distance with daily flights back and forth from Amsterdam I wonder what exactly is so difficult yet so hard to track down my suitcase , so I advise anyone who is thinking about travelling with Easyjet DON'T count on the airline support to help with any problems you may encounter they will not help !!!!!

1. The check baggage line at easyJet at Ferihegyi Airport (Budapest) was completely unprofessional. Long line of passengers, all anxious as the minutes ticked away and the line was not moving. Only one person doing baggage and she was slow, spacey and mildly hostile to customers. Given the length of the line, easyJet should have had at least two people working this station. 2. Once we were past security, waiting to hear gate announcement, the gate is finally posted and then, within two minutes, an announcement that this is the "last call;" believing that, we run to the gate. 3. The gate isn't really the gate: We are ushered into a giant, hangar-like structure, metal, hot; penned into a space that had maybe 8 seats for over 100 passengers, where we all wait, standing up, sweltering, for another 45 minutes before actually boarding starts. 4. Flight is almost exactly an hour late to leave. 5. Relieved to see that the flight, itself, was uneventful.

On the 29th July this year I was booked on a flight from Croatia to Stansted with Easyjet. Sadly on our way to the airport there was an horrendous accident so delaying our minibus by at least an hour . When we arrived at Dubrovnik airport I had 20 minutes before take off so didn't think that there was any chance of me being able to board the plane. However the captain and staff had been kept informed of my progress and I was met outside the airport and rushed throw to the p,and by some really lovely Easyjet staff. When I actually boarded I must have looked visibly shaken because a member of the crew asked if I was alright and offered me a drink of water, which I accepted. I have flown many times with Easyjet and heard the jokes and critism however they could not have been more professional and helpful. Thank you Easyjet and I will definitely be using you again.

We are talking about a low cost airline, so you have to prepare yourself for the journey, learn about the policies and procedures so there are no surprises at the airport. If you do not like that your cabin luggage is going into the hold, just buy an upfront seat so it is guaranteed on board. I think if you know the rules you can have a relaxing trip with easyjet. Of course there are some cases of cancellation, but you get a hotel room and fly with the next available aircraft. If you are missing work, thats your own fault, we are talking about an airline so safety is always first.

My husband and I flew from Paris to Rome in June 2015 with easy jet. We were going to fly with Air France but their cheaper flights sold out too quickly and we missed out. I was nervous about flying with easy jet as I'd heard some not great things. Apparently there was a fire at FCO in May so they changed us to CIA but only gave me 2 days notice, which I was peeved about. Turned out to be a blessing because we flew out of FCO and it was INSANE. I highly recommend CIA. Anyway. Our flight was on time. Zero delays. The staff were pleasant. The seats were comfortable. I paid like $12 extra for extra leg room so that our carry on bags would be guaranteed to fit, as we weren't checking luggage. We both fell asleep promptly and missed any drink service or entertainment, oops. Either way, zero delays, zero issues, cheap flight. What more could you want?
